This year’s edition of MARKET presented a couple of novelties, beside the main fair:

MARKET Emerging - a section for newly established galleries, where we put the young and expansive Scandinavian art scene in the spotlight. Participants: Galleri Niklas Belenius and Nordin Gallery, Stockholm; Larm Galleri, Valby (Copenhagen); and Lautom Contemporary, Oslo.

MARKET Editions & Multiples was geared towards galleries working with high quality editions and multiples. This year we welcomed dep,art,ment, Stockholm; and Atelje Larsen, Helsingborg to this section.

MARKET At Large gave the possibility for participating galleries to put artworks on display that may be difficult to show in a standard booth. Exhibiting artists: Per Inge Bjørlo, Galleri Bo Bjerggaard; Kari Cavén and Wim Delvoye, Galleri Andersson Sandström; Lukas Göthman, Roger Björkholmen Galleri, Gunilla Klingberg and Håkan Rehnberg, Galerie Nordenhake; Anders Sletvold Moe, Elastic and Mia Sundberg Galleri; and Ulrika Sparre, Galleri Niklas Belenius.

discussion led by Niclas Östlind, curator at Åmells


Gallery Night in Stockholm

Gallery Night in Stockholm on Saturday February 14 with openings and galleries staying open late.

Collectors Programme 2009
MARKET 2009 included an exclusive Collectors Programme for international art collectors.
Special VIP-arrangements were offered in connection with the art fair and other art events in Stockholm.
